About the Facilitator
With over a decade of experience guiding others in mindfulness and meditation, our lead facilitator brings both depth and authenticity to every session.
- Although facilitating Secular Mindfulness, Fernanda is a dedicated student of meditation since 1997, she has trained under unbroken lineage Masters in both Hinduism and Buddhism, which gives her depth and understanding
- Completed a 12-year formal education in Meditation Philosophy, certified
- Learned and had the fortune to study in Nepal, India, and Japan (among other countries) to study ancient mindfulness practices at their source
- Certified in Mindfulness Instruction by the University of Toronto
- Over 10 years of teaching experience in Canada, including guided retreats, mindfulness certifications, and hundreds of tailored group sessions
- Fernanda Cano is also a Counsellor which gives her the techniques and knowledge to guide professional sessions
She is passionate about sharing mindfulness in a way that is accessible, warm, and deeply effective — especially in corporate settings, where clarity and calm are most needed.

A Sound Bath is a deeply restorative experience where healing vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, and indigenous Brazilian tools help shift you from stress into deep relaxation, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
What to Expect:
- You lie down and receive sound vibrations while possibly engaging in breathwork, affirmations, or light movement.
- Sessions begin with grounding and intention-setting, followed by a sequence of tones that guide you into a theta brainwave state — linked to meditation, dreaming, and healing.
Instruments Used:
- Crystal Singing Bowls: Clear mental fog, promote cellular repair, activate higher chakras.
- Tibetan Bowls: Grounding tones that calm the nervous system and release stress.
- Indigenous Instruments: Connect to Earth wisdom and ancestral healing traditions.
Lineage & Approach:
The facilitator is trained in Vedic and Tibetan sound healing, with experience from India and Nepal, and integrates Brazilian indigenous wisdom — treating sound as sacred medicine, not performance.
